The Ramayana series that went viral! This is the series of 7 books, written by Geeta Kasturi, that went viral in 2022. Written over ten years, overcoming a debilitating situation with arthritis, Geeta learnt Awadhi and literary level Tamil to write a comparison of the three main Ramayanas of the world. The original, written by Valmiki in Sanskirt, formed the foundation on which she drew out key strands from Goswami Tulasidas' Ramacharitmanasa in Awadhi and Kamban's Ramayanam in Tamil. Born in 1903, Kasi was educated at Presidency and Madras Law College. He kept a diary every day of his life from the age of 13 to his death at 42. This volume of excerpts, revised and refreshed in a second edition, offer an unparalleled contemporary insight into the Indian freedom struggle, the second world war, the fine arts, and even cricket, of the period between 1916 and 1945.

A cookbook is like a family photo album. As you leaf through your family's book and land on a recipe, you are reminded of cosy family evenings, or special celebrations. Memories of family members no longer amongst us, of ruccous family gatherings, children tearing through the house, unbridled laughter ringing in the air. This is what our mother's recipe book did for us, and we hope it evokes the familiar joy of home in you too.
